Optimize End of Year Video

For Optimize Financial Group, I worked on a video project that combined live-action footage with 3D animation, marking the company’s first time incorporating fully rendered 3D elements into an in-house production. Using reference photos of their real office building, I created a detailed 3D representation, experimenting with AI-assisted modelling techniques to achieve an accurate and efficient result. All 3D elements were created in Blender, where I handled the modelling, scene assembly, lighting, and rendering. The project also includes a fully modelled and animated 3D globe sequence, as well as a bespoke Christmas tree animation used for the festive ending. Live-action footage provided by the videographers was edited and integrated with the 3D content, with additional visual polish added in After Effects, including custom particle effects created using Trapcode Particular.

This project allowed me to bring my professional experience gained since moving to Canada into Optimize Financial Group’s creative pipeline, helping introduce a new hybrid workflow that combined live-action and 3D while maintaining a polished, professional brand aesthetic.
